You think thats good? CHeck out Youtube`s blog and the new `TextP` quality of the videos.. They claim it cuts down on bandwidth costs if we watch videos in text.. Pick a video, click on the quality button and choose TextP - great ASCII filter!!

Google translate for Animals for Android!!
:P

From their `further info` link..

Pro Tip: As a general rule the higher up in the food chain an animal is, the better a communicator it will be. So if you are after quick witted banter it’s best to select cats and dogs rather than rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs.
(Herbivores and omnivores are not known for their linguistic ability. Although it has been discovered that tortoises have expansive general knowledge.)

Nice try, but as good as pranks in the past. I think they should have redirected the home page to www.topeka.com and change the search button to "Topeka Search"

Come on, Google. You own the world, at least fool it every so often...

Th needed to take it all the way and change Google Maps & Google Earth to reflect the change. They did not.

wow shows how out of it I am, I was just at their site, saw the logo and rested my mouse on it to see the message that comes up, and then just said "huh" and went on about my search. lol never considered it being anything other than their usual playing with logo's thing.

Thanks! I had already admired today's Google logo, but I hadn't clicked on it. Very nice.
