That's how many of the members are active at the moment :(

Even allowing for those that just aren't around DPC anymore that is a shocking statistic. Who hasn't done a critique in a long while - how about popping in and doing one - just one?

A critique, about 30 mins...
A good one about an hour plus.
The image better be worth it.

I'm a nut about data and statistics. In fact I know that 47% of all statistics are made up on the spot. I'm wondering if this one is made up, or true. Can you let us know what comprised the numerator and denominator yielding 3.66%, please. It just seems like too small a percentage.

I just did three, so there should only be about 6 left now.

Sure, at the time there had been 14 members active in the last 2 weeks out of a total CC membership of 382.

So, gonna do a critique now?

I wish I could do an honest critique at this time but I have not taken a photograph in about a year because at the moment I don't have a camera. Critiquing a photograph goes beyond the technical into the artisty and what type of editing is popular at the time on the site. One should take all of those areas into account while critiquing an image. So for now I feel would do the photograph more harm than good.

I'm one of the 368 that has not critiqued in the last two weeks and the above is why.

Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong but this is how I feel.

All images are worth the time it takes to offer a critique, this is how one helps others better themselves. I personally have appreciated each and everyone that I have ever received. Good or bad, insight into how others see your work is a valuable tool for improvement and can only serve to better ones self.

A hearty good cheer to those of you who have the time and energy to help others with your knowledge. Thank you one and all for your wonderful work with image critiques.

MAX!

I can't tell you what nuzzer used, but here are the exact statistics that I posted to another thread on 2/13:

Here are the statistics on the Critique Club activity since the group was established (apparently at about the same time the site was established)
these stats are as of a few minutes ago:
Since its inception
76,580 have been requested
15,028 have been critiqued
by a total of 382 volunteer (and vetted) members.
Within the last two weeks, 14 critique club members have been active.

At the present time we get about 80 or so requests each week.

I'm rotten at math, but if you like statistics, here they are. Help yourself and crunch numbers!
(I would not only crunch them, I would step on them first!=.)
:-))
