Hi,

I recently got married and we have been given the rights to use the images our photographer took as we choose (as long as it is non commerical)

I'm trying to find somewhere where we can get them put into a coffee table book - something along the lines of graphistudio. Problem is this company and others seem only to cater for professionals who are going to put more than a couple of albums through them.

I'm happy to play around with the photos in photoshop/indesign (I need to find some templates for that!) so needing a designer isn't going to be an issue.

can anyone recommend a place I can look, preferably UK based? If this goes ok I may also put some other events, like holidays/honeymoon into an album.

Thanks

You could try taking a look at www.loxleycolour.co.uk Although they are a professional lab, they do also cater to amateur photogs too. They have some design software that you can download to create the books. They are definitely more high end than photobox/blurb options. I have the software, but haven't got round to actually having anything printed yet. They did come highly recommended by a wedding photog I know.

I use asukabooks.

If you don't mind forking out a couple hundred, you can get them to design an album and press it for you as well.

I use AsukaBook as well, but am contemplating using Zookbinders PhotoBooks - they look really nice.

Ausukabook seems to be for professionals only. I understood from the OP that this was not what he was looking for and zookbinders seem to be US only.

Thank you for your replies - salmiakki is unfortunately correct - I only mess around with photography so can't pass myself off as a professional and so lots of companies refuse to talk to me.

Loxleycolour seems good, they appear to do the style I'm interested in and have sent me a pricelist - which is more than the other companies would!

We use Blurb Books for all our couples guest books. I don't know about UK shipping but they are fast, inexpensive and do a really good job.

Edit to add: They do ship to the UK :-)

We use //www.willowpaperworks.com/ and they use our custom designed photo albums.
