Any of Your Photos Here?
Is this theft or not because they are ecards. No credit given. It's been a long time since i've been on dpchallenge and I TinEye some of my images. We need some kind of watermark. |

There are a few that look similar to ones I have seen on DPC, and this is definitely the ribbon winning photo  from  CutlassDude70 - that said, he may have it for sale at a stock agency. |

That's theft..I love how people can come here and shop for free..taking our work that we try so hard to make....and using our creativity as their own....
They should right-click disable this whole site...(for non-paying members (sorry))....and add water marks....
Or Just do something.....
its a pisser to pay for a membership on this site...and have no protection against theft.
Just some thoughts on the subject that keeps coming up...

Watermarks might be helpful, but as has been stated too many times to count, right-click disable is worthless. |

The way web browsers work is they read the HTML script and download everything thing needed in the HTML code. This includes downloading images.
If disabling right-click it doesn't matter, the image has been downloaded to the individual's machine. They can find it in their cache somewhere on their computer.
Only thing you can do is watermark. |

Right click disable doesn't work in FF. Sure you get the little popup but then can proceed as usual.
Watermarks would be the only way to deter theft. However, watermarking would be detrimental to voting so should only be added after voting is over.
The only guarantee to stopping theft is to stop posting. |

A good solution is to only take crappy, useless, photos. I've never had any trouble with theft. ;-)
