My topic has not changed. I will be photographing the many many drive up coffee shacks in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska. These shacks are everywhere! Folks here have a serious addiction to coffee. The book title: Coffee Crazed in Alaska.
Oh and the shacks are not just typical looking shacks - they are done up in all kinds of unique ways.

Woooh!!

Exam season is upon me, interviews and applications abound, but what the hell.

Assuming my planning session tomorrow leaves me with enough time to eat and sleep in the next couple of months I shall be starting very soon. I think I'm going to be doing a set of portraits/candids.

Exam season starting.. But (as above) what the hell?

I will be starting tomorrow. The theme is Reykjavík street photography/Urban details. This will be some challenge for me but I have been looking for a challenge anyways.. Overcoming the though of what people think.

I wont be doing this Bruce Gilden style though.. Thats a bit too much :-)

Book title: Found Reykjavik.

Nah, he would never. I am one of his hardest workers. Plus I have legit reasons, as right now I have herniated discs that are bad enough to be seeing a neuro and scheduling surgery (appt is May 12th) and have not missed a day yet - working through the pain. On top if that, Friday I subluxed my elbow (third time in 2 weeks) while at work. I may truly be going to my doc on Monday to have the elbow checked out further.

I'm in. Waited until the last minute to pick a topic, but I'm in. I'm sort of cheating: Atlanta's Grant Park, which is basically my back yard. No driving, no parking issues.

I'm not sure where/how to post for it, though. Should I start a blogspot page, create a set on my flickr page?

I'm looking for the fine print... Has anyone found it and/or read it? I just want to make sure I'm not giving any rights away...
