Ok - just to set what I think will be the UPPER limit - welcome to Alaska. Yes - we have a pipeline, refineries and no state gas tax (currently suspended) - $2.93 in Fairbanks :(

We're still at .91 but I honestly didn't think we'd ever see it under a dollar again.

Just thought I would say hi..... Saw you were from Fort Collins. I used to live there back in the early 90's. Not far from Riverside....a few blocks from the Albertson's store.

Ha! Not to hijack this, but how long did you live here?

I'm moving to Canada

$A1.16
But hey, as the Aussie Dollar sucks so much, it only buys $US0.60, so that makes it $US0.696.
Except that I guess you guys are talking by the Gallon, whereas we buy by the Litre, so I presume that gets me somehwere up with the Alaskan price........
But seeing it was up around $A1.60 (and yes, thats in the City (Melbourne)), and the cheapest we could get it at that time, how can one complain.......
They are talking that petrol might get below $A1 a litle here over the coming months.....never thought I would see that again

I filled up today for $1.65, on the other side of the state gas is $1.43 a gallon.

While it might be close to Alaska's price once you accomplish all of the $/ liter/ gallon conversions - you would think that having a pipeline and refinery less than ten miles away would result in cheaper prices. It is all about what the gas companies can get away with charging and currently our Govenor Palin is not taking care of the state.

Columbus ranges from $1.91 - $2.06 a gal.
Georgia ranges from $1.57 - $2.39 a gal.

You would think, but from the front of work, I can see the refinery, and the oil refined is Australian Oil. Our problem is, for some unknown reason, it was deceided many years ago that the price of Australian Oil would be linked to the price of crude in Singapore (I kid you not)......
As for Palin, we love that her foreign policy experience is that "Alaska is close to Russia" As a result, none of our leaders have any foriegn experience, as Ausralia is close to nothing.........

About 2 years. My aunt and her husband still live there. Own a place called Jokers....tattoo place. I live in Fort Collins, and in Loveland for a while. Loved going up in the canyon, especially Crystal Lake. Made me think of the "Friday the 13th" movies.

Oh and gas here is $1.70 at Wal-Mart.
