Just started a Zenfolio account. Went with just the basic plan for now, to get an idea if I like the interface and if it suits my needs.

mcbphotography.zenfolio.com

I must say the custom printing and setting your prices looks really nice in the Premium Account.

Anyone have any success stories with Zenfolio? How have you liked it?

Here is my referral code if anyone wants 5$ off their acount: YXH-3Y7-NAR

:)

Their info page on printing says "Order prints and photo products from several labs," but the example screenshot they have seems to indicate the only choice you have is mpix. Can you actually print with other labs from them, or is it just mpix?

right now its Mpix for prints and IYP photo for different products like mugs and puzzles. Also you can set it up to do your own printing but that requires having the premium account

I like zenfolio a lot but the one thing I really want from them is the ability to add some more excitement to that first page.

Seriously...and just a tad more customization. They keep saying it's in the works, but it seems like it's taking forever.

I actually followed those threads on the forum for awhile and eventually lost interest and started working on my own customer entry page and then I refer to zenfolio for online proofing and sales. I'm really impressed with the quality of their site but more is required for a 'pro' site. I think there is still a big gap in the market between the advanced sharing sites like zenfolio and smugmug and the high end sites like livebooks.

it appears that only a premium account lets you set your own prices?

I was confused by this too.
I'm wondering how prices are determined.
