My adorable dog Ozzie
(hence some sarcasm) has done it this time.

I have been trying slowly to allow him time to be out of his crate while I am gone at work.
Binki currently stays outside and has the whole kitchen area to herself. She is a well behaved and intelligent dog. If it has something to do with being female, I leave that up to the debaters.

Anyway, Day 10 had gone by with no incidents.
See ,let me explain, Ozzie has this palette for Walls. All kinds of walls, Dry walls, door walls. You name the wall, he eats it. So the Crate has been his hotel while I am not at home for this reason.

Well He is 2 and a half now and I thought he had matured. Boy was I wrong. Each day when I got home, I always checked the kitchen area to see if any damaged was done. No damage. Good boy Ozzie!

But on the 10th day, I found out that his freedom to the kitchen was finished. I get home and what I see? The side wall of my patio door eaten to the metal. I was GRRRR!! OZZZIE!!! But to be fair (cause it could have been Binki, HA! Not likely) I followed the trail of wooden chips and they led to his crate (where he sleeps and now his permanent place until he gains my confidence again).

All I could do was shake my head in disbelief. And to think I was going to build a dog door for these two to go outside when I wasn’t home. Well there goes that idea. Ozzie did it again. I tell you, that dog is one light short from being a Christmas tree. Even when he looks at you , you wonder what mischief he might be up to. Go figure..

Sounds kinda like my 3 yo daughter. :)

'cept I don't keep her in a crate.

I am sending him to Australia to live among the dingos if he keeps that up. :P

ROFLMAO!! Have you tried vitamins? Maybe he has an iron deficiency. OMG, I'm just cracking up! You know it could also be in retaliation for dressing him up. ;P

You could put one of those cones on him, heh, I love those things.

I actually have one of those for him that I never used when he had his surgery. Not a bad idea there Slippy hehe

I would be affraid that he would learn how to drive that and then I will get the neighbors and cops knocking at my door. :)

Maybe the dog door is a good idea after all. Mischief outside must be better than your walls.

If I had my cats declawed, surely you could have Ozzie detoothed. :-D

He's a young herding dog, a breed that is accustomed to hours and hours of activity. A tired dog is a good dog - and a walk once a day or a few minutes of ball playing isn't going to wear him out. Give him a job, something to do. Otherwise you'll be crating him until he's 5 and starts to slow down.

I hear you, but he is tiny (20 lbs at most). So he has plenty of space and dog time with Binki. She is a handful for him. I could buy some sheep and put them in my back yard. Any Kiwis want to give me a good deal on some sheep?
