Ok..my question is this...

Say a client wants a photo edited to help slim the waistline, appear slightly taller, or reduce double chin, small physical imperfections, etc? What would you use to do this? I've heard of some "high $$$$" studios that use software to do the editing, but have never been able to find out what program or whatever they use.

Thanks!

All the professional editing of this type that I know of is done with Photoshop.

Most pro's do use Photoshop. A lot of cheapskates like myself use PaintShop Pro, which is almost the equal and a lot less money. (If I were a pro, I would probably use photoshop as well) Much more is available in the way of tutorials for photoshop, but most of the concepts still apply to any image editor.

I have CS3, but just curious if there were something similiar to Portrait Professional Max that I use for headshots/portraits...but for use on the body?

Bump for anyone that might have missed this yesterday...

Does anyone know if any program is available that might work a little like Portrait Pro Max, with control points, etc.? I'm just not having very much luck with CS3 in making these types of changes.

Thanks....
