Cause I am just so jealous of the Canada GTG's and the Europe GTG's why dont we organise one for Australia.
Throw your ideas out there... Sydney/Melbourne/Tassie/WA/SA/QLD or NT???? any ideas?

The only real time I couldnt go would be spring as it is wedding season...

Lentil - if you are thinking later in the year - Sydney is good for me.

I love to come, but it would also have to be later in the year, and hopefully warmer. Sydney or Melbourne would suit me. I think it is a great idea Lisa, for as many Australians mambers, and also maybe New Zealand members, to have a chance to come to this get together as well.

Thanks Lisa, and hope something comes of this.....

Come on "Aussies", put your name down, to those who would be interested. We would have a great time, so let see what we can arrange.

I'm keen. If it's here in Melbourne I'm sure some of us locals could organise a few functions for those traveling from afar.

As far as things to do... Melbourne IS the "sporting and cultural capital of Australia"... ;)

What's on in Melbourne in Dec-Jan? Here's some stuff. Not in the list is the Australian Open Tennis... then there are heaps of stuff that is a short drive out of Melbourne.

If the GTG is here, I'm happy to help in any way I can. If it's elsewhere I could not commit to attending until closer to the date... work and family commitments make such planning difficult.

I can't believe you'd choose Bali over Melbourne!

Offering my home to anyone who needs accomodation during the GTG. Have two rooms with double beds that can be used. Let me know....sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Any month is okay by me....although my house looks great with Christmas decorations, if I'm going to have visitors!!

Melbourne GOOD as my two sons and two grandsons live there.
That would give me a double reason to visit.
I also would love to finally meet Enzo..... hotpasta

I hope it is towards the end of the year.
