Hey guys,

Not that i am worried about my score, but more so I know where the photo went wrong for next time.

Can some of the voters from childhood let me know what was wrong with this image?

Did you not know what it was? Did you not get it? Was the lighting bad? Did the texture look like noise? Was it just a crappy photo?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rich

Great comment Sara, Thanks for your honesty. I will try to remember the internationalness of the website in my ideas next time :)

Thank you,

I didn't vote in this, but I do think that those who did comment have it about right. The concept is great, but the execution could use some tuning. try doing some of the things the commenters said and see if you come out with something better.

I didn't vote, but you would have lost me too. I tried to figure it out before scrolling down, but didn't get it.

When I first looked at this I thought there was some kind of curtain valance and maybe bibs or clothing in the foreground.

Hey I don't want to hi-jack this thread but whilst people are at it could they have a glance at my shot too please? I know this shot isn't great, I put it in because it was fun, I'd just like to get some idea as to why there were 37 sub 4 votes - with no explanation. OK if the shot had been truly rubbish but it also got 80 votes over 6! Ideas?
