I had to create a bunch of before and after images of some of my work for a portfolio and thought I might drop them in here as well. Basically it is just the original model shot in the studio and the final photoshopped version. Any comments appreciated :)

These are awesome - I really love them as before and afters, especially because it shows a photoshop nub like me what some of the possibilities are. For example...your flying witch and the two shots taken of both legs to allow them to be combined into a suspended one.
Some great images in there. You should post a link to this in the "Photoshop Is Not Photography" thread to make a point ;)

| Pretty cool Gary, have recently started experimenting with similar stuff so great to see how you do it! How do you mask the hair? I usually shoot on a chroma green paper backround and use color range, I am kind of happy but still not quite... Any tips? |

Hey nice to see you again. The best method I have for masking hair is a filter called Vertus Mask. The best method around that I have found and I have tried everything :) It is very exact! |

| Thank you so much for posting those, Kiwiness! That's some really amazing work. The before and afters are especially helpful, especially for us beginners - I think I've learned a whole new avenue of THINKING about shooting just from looking! Absolutely inspiring. |

Wow - great example of what can be done! And that you need a good concept of how you want the final to look like! I guess each of these took hours of planning and preparation before "assembling" the product. These works are quite an inspiration!
