I'm a kindergarten teacher, so I try to follow directions pretty well (practice what you preach, right?). I think it's funny that there is a post entitled "This is a Test, please do not click here" and there have been 12 comments and 149 views. I am curious what the thread is, but not curious enough to disregard the title. It further proves my point that some people at this site disregard titles and go places where they are not supposed to go. It would be even funnier still if it turned out there was tons of hard-core porn on that thread, and the people who visited there started a thread to complain about it. :)

I read a short story once where the only two people left on earth was a man and a woman. The guy was a rough type of guy and the woman was quite refined. The story ended by the guy getting locked in the men's room. The woman refused to go in there to free him, it was something she was told to never do.

Liana: I'll summarize for you:

Calvus was having a problem posting a certain sequence of letters to DPC. Whenever he would type anything with "king" in it, it would be replaced with "****". He thought perhaps it was some kind of weird DPC swearing filter or something, because he typed "looking", and his post showed up as "loo****". Turns out he has a security product called Zone Alarm installed that can prevent sending "personal" information to the net. To test this new feature of Zone Alarm, he added the word "King" to the program's list of "personal information", and Zone Alarm proceeded to replace any occurrence of "king" in anything he submitted to a web page with "****". His post was just to test to see if his problem was fixed.

Hope that satisfies your curiosity. There is no porn. =) As a member of the Site Council, it was my duty to read the thread, so that is why I clicked. I don't know about the other 148 people.

Okay, I'll admit to opening the thread to look - it's just human nature. If there had been a link to anything else, however, my curiosity would have ended before clicking the link. Opening a thread to read what it's all about is not risky. Clicking a link could very well be. So, I guess what I'm saying is that I'm curious - and willing to do what is necessary to satisfy that curiosity up to a point. Beyond that point (when there could be a risk to life, limb, or computer) I refuse to go.

I remember an very old episode of Candid Camera where a sign reading 'Dry Paint' was attached to a ordinary dry wall. Needless to say, many people felt the need to come up and touch the wall. Go figure.
