Just a concerned DPC'r

I send him a pm yesterday, haven't heard back. Very odd!

He left of his own free will.
12/03/2007 03:51:06 PM · #4
ah hell, he was my favorite photog.
12/03/2007 03:52:48 PM · #5
yup, but you can find him on flickr
12/03/2007 03:56:54 PM · #6
This was the last I saw of him...

Hmmm, to leave us like that without a goodbye or an explanation can only mean one of two things - he was mad about something here or he cracked the DPC safe and absconded with all the cash. He's probably parachuting out of a plane over Oregon with a duffle bag as we speak.

Wow. Sad to see him go. One of the best around.

these are the ones that were in my faves, but it's not a representational sample. I quit faving his stuff because there was too much to fave:

My guess is that his membership was not up, in which case his portfolio images are still accessible. I do believe its the same with artyste as his portfolio images are still accessible ifyou can find them in someones fave folder.

This was my favourite in a portfolio showcasing one uncompromising way of looking for light in the dark.

Well, I think it's so incredibly obvious why he left...

As you can all clearly see from the images posted that his shooting was so painfully focused on winning a ribbon that he could no longer cope with the pressure.

I understand the feeling.

Fly on Little Wing...and thanks for the fish.

(just joking, for the record)

Nah, he was beaten in 'Street Smarts' by an 11yo with a D200... ;-)

apparently he simply requested his account be closed this weekend. We are not sure why, he did not say. I'm sorry he left, and I'm even more sorry we don't know why.

I do not agree about the winning ribbon part. The images posted are not the ones those win ribbons but are very very good photography. If he was focused onb winning ribbons he probably would have shot dpc-streotype shots. Or may be just repeated past winners.
Its sad to see talented people go, but this is life.

I was joking. Big time sarcasm...

My apologies if that wasn't clear.
