| Although I have not been actively submitting photographs for challenges, I've been watching the results closely. I'm a little confused because on numerous occasions I have seen the same photograph submitted for multiple challenges (different times of course). I thought the rules of the challenges specifically require that the pictures be taken within the week of the challenges. Are people finding ways to make their photographs appear to be taken on a different date? I don't have a problem with it, but there have been times when I wish I could submit photographs that I had already taken, but were not in the right time frame. Can somebody please explain? |

Happens to me as well, I have often shot the perfect photo just before the permissible date for the challenge.
It's likely that it is an easily accessible subject for the photographer, and the second photo was taken within the proper time frame. I have also noticed some photos that appear to have been more suited for another recent challenge, but I have not checked any dates.

could be a reshoot?
or you could request a validation, and the SC can look into the dates issue. |

I wish I wrote those challenges down because I forgot where I saw them. I guess people should keep their eyes out for any duplicate shots... |

There are certain subjects we see over and over again (like the Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach).
They are different photos of the very same thing..... gets a bit hard to tell after a while if it IS new or not. |
