Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM

This side challenge is inspired by

Rebecca's 50 day personal and then DPC community photo-a-day project. The original picture thread can be found here.

The idea is to take and post one picture each day for each day in October. The goal is to record something that happens each day and post with why you took the picture or what it means to you.

Suggestions:
1. Step a bit out of your comfort zone - new photographic technique, pp technique, share something important, do a self portrait, take a candid, etc.

2. Keep up on posting and commenting.

3. Record in your comments why you took picture, what it is, how you felt, etc. Even comments such as, "I was tired and bored so here's my boot" tell us a lot.

4. This isn't about creating a great picture every time but more about exploring yourself and others in the DPC community.

5. When you really, really don't feel like taking a picture: take lenscap off, click, lenscap on. See rule 4.

6. Your spouse and kids make great subjects. If they're not used to it by now, they will be by the end of October!

7. Post processing steps if you think others may not know the technique.

8. Boring, mundane, and posting several days at once are allowed.

Rule:
1. Have fun.

The above suggestions can be revised as necessary, just post here.

It was a lot of hard work to do the 50 days so the group decided to shorten it and will do this every other month. It was a great chance to learn about ourselves, others, and try new things.

For those who want to play, post here and I'll update the list. I'll create the picture thread at the end of the month.

I'm in. I've just gotten back into shooting after a wee break during a big move so I think I can do this. As long as boring and mundane are acceptable at times. :)

I would love to be involved, so put my name in please..... Thanks and looking forward to this one..... I am going to try and make it a candid or street image if possible, most of ther time, or about me and our struggles and joys of each day.

ps; By the way, I love the idea, and also love the rules.....

I am thinking that I might give this a go. I am at a very quiet time for my work so this might be a good chance so pleased to see boring mundane images allowed :)

Count me in please! I enjoyed the 50 day challenge, it did start to get a bit much after 30 (even just for the fact that you had to think about what day in the challenge to label it! lol).

btw, I love rule 3, sometimes when you're looking at someone elses shot you like to know what was going on when they took it.

I'm currently in the sept bw side challenge and having some fun. Dunno if I can keep it up but would like to reserve a place for the very last minute if thats ok?

This looks a lot like the "Show us where you live" 30 day challenge, and I see some of the same friends have already signed on for this one. That was a fine adventure, and this one will be also.
I would love to do this one, but I will be staying in my camper on a job a lot at that time, so may not have my net service with me.
If it looks like I will have time to do the commenting, I may take a shot at this challenge, otherwise, I will have to sit it out.

Sign me up, but please be aware that I may have stretches of time with no internet access. Or days like today when I type in a response, hit post, and it says "No connection" so I type it all in again. Argh. But it sounds therapeutic. I could use therapeutic about now. I will try to keep up and work around non-access times. And I hope you all like beige!
