I am looking for one of these as a present and figured someone here has some opinion :-)

I am looking for something around the $180 max mark and seems to be the 10.2 diag size. I ONLY needs to run from a card (don't care about computer connection, web-downloads, MP3 e.t.c.). Something like this....

Suggestions? Things to look for? I am mostly concerned about image quality.

I buy stuff from this place and alway have good results, though I haven't bought any of the picture frames from them...

Make sure you're getting maximum resolution, at least 800x600 or 800x533 (or so for widescreen) ... I'm not sure if any of them go above that (SVGA) at this point, but many of them are 640x480 (VGA), or event worse 480x320, and some don't have good brightness and color depth. The high-res, 8-bit color models with good brightness and viewing angle are still pretty pricey, especially in the 10" sizes.

Here's the largest/nicest one I've come across to date, with 1024x768 res., but way outside your budget: Smartparts SP15MW 15" Digital Picture Frame
