I decided to enter several pictures this year at the fair. Their website said you were allowed 4 pictures per lot per person. There were 10 lots in B/W and 10 in color. I figured out which pictures I wanted to enter, spent the money to print them (had to be 8x10)both at Walmart and at home. When I went to enter I was told 1 picture per lot. Talk about on the spot decision making! Anyway, out of the 12 I entered I received 4-1sts, 2-2nd's and an honorable mention. Looks like I'll be getting about $26 in prize money. Won't cover my costs in ink, paper and printing, but still nice to know I actually won!Below are the pix I entered.

 (this was a tighter crop and I cloned the brown out)
These didn't place, but I'm still happy with them.

| Cool! Congratulations :) I didn't enter this year, but plan to enter next year along with my daughter, who has shown some interest in photogrpahy. |
