I had to post--abelskeivers(sp?) are a family tradition as my grandfather was from Copenhagen. Sorry--I am in the US, but I had to throw out props--life long goal to visit his homeland.

My friend who I've know since kindergarten lives with her family in Viby, Århus or there abouts. Have been there once for her wedding. She comes her a lot and my sister visits them often.

What a gift! I married into a Danish family, with my mother-in-law born and raised in Denmark, the only member of her family to come to the states after WWII. My wife and I have been with our Danish family in Denmark several times, and have greatly enjoyed every visit from our Danish family here to our home in the US. Being with our Danish family, both in Jutland and in Copenhagen, makes me want to stay longer and return more often, as well as work harder on learning the Danish language. So I raise my glass of Aalborg Akvavit and offer a hearty "Skol!" to all the Danes in the DPC world of photographers!

No Danes here, too (I always preferred Dalmatians over them), but I have spent about 20 vacations there and know almost every corner of Jylland and some of the North Sea islands, too. My mother even married her second husband at Hvide Sande.

I've had Danish pastry for breakfast many times. Mmmm, that's good stuff!

Been to Denmark. From what I was told, I had a great time.

...I seem to have misplaced my pants.

Think you can tell me what a good salary is considered for denmark? One for someone in mid-upper management (after taxes)

Sounds random question, but Im thinking of a move out there and want to just get an idea. thanks.

I probably wouldn't be the best to ask, as i'm only 14 years old, but have asked my mother, and she saids, that it's around 20.000 to 25.000 kr, whitch is equivalent to 3500 to 4500 $ a month

Hope that helps

Thanks (and to your mom)for the info. By the way, your frog pic is great. I missed voting for it in the challenge but that would get a 10

I've never been, but I always heard there's something rotten in Denmark.

I was lucky enough to live and study in Copenhagen. It was an awesome country to live in and the people were so nice. I still have many friends there. I will always consider Denmark to be my second adopted country.

If any DPC Danes are coming to New York, please don't hesitate to look me up.
