It almost seemed like she had no problem being video taped but she did have a problem with being photgraphed. I thought it was funny how she told them they were trespassing. "It illegal because you're not allowed!"
I am so glad I have never had to deal with anything like this at all.
addendum: The person doing the video taping kept going until she actually asked if they photographing her. Then they pointed the camera away from her and shut it off.

| It's blaspheming the name of God when you take it and use it to express suprise or disgust... where a four-letter curse word would fit as well. |

1. It's a free country
2. You have to believe in God, for blaspheme to count.
3. Maybe he is talking about HIS God and not yours.
4. Better if it was OH MY ALLAH?
EDIT: I don't know why people constantly open themselves up for this. Your beliefs had nothing to do with this thread. Why post them?

It's a matter of civility. There are more than a few people who are offended when people say "Oh my God!" or "Jesus Christ!". I am one of them. I would rather hear the f-word than people throwing those names about (espcially with a valley girl accent).
Someone just brought it up that it offended them. Why get all in a wad about it?

| Actually I was just asking cause it never occured to me as being blasphemy.. I do know a few other choice words that I would consider blasphemy. Just did not know why pottersclay75 got all upity about it. Live and let live.. |

Actually I agree. I believe "blasphemy" is to claim to be God. (The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.) Using God's name in vain is "profanity" (Irreverence towards sacred things; particularly, an irreverent or blasphemous use of the name of God.) and cussing in general is "vulgarity" (Something, such as an act or expression, that offends good taste or propriety.)
However, I looked the terms up and there does seem to be some overlap in common usage. So specifically, I am much less personally bothered by vulgarity than profanity.
