I'm entering another local contest...this one being a true photo contest and not a "polling" type most votes thing. This one is juried and has a $200 first prize. I won it two years ago, but had to sit out last year since I was on vacation.

It's for a local sculpture park. Entries are 11x14's matted to 16x20 size - framed or not, photographer's choice. I usually just put a simple mat and black frame around mine. Photos must be taken during a two week period and feature sculptures in the park. I can enter a total of three (of three separate sculptures.)

I really like the first black and white one, but would like opinions on all three shots. I don't have a portfolio here anymore (except for challenges) so I have to give you the pbase link. Please let me know if you think these are contest worthy. Thanks!

The middle one is my favorite of the three...i find reflections so emotive. But they're all wonderful...you are sure to win with one of those!! Sorry I can't really give technical advice...i'm a newbie :)

Definitely not the rather chaotic red image. Between the other two, my preference is the "scenic" but the B/W also is nice.

I like the reflection one best as well. The B&W is a close second and then the red.

I'm going for thress different looks and wanted to play with the red one. I'm going to get it printed and matted/framed and see how I like it. It's one of those that I think might look kind of cool once it's all put together, but I dunno if I'll enter it or not.

The b/w piece is by far my favorite sculpture at the park. It's called "Adam's First Breath" and the full piece shows Adam being formed out of the ground. HERE
you can see the whole piece. I think knowing what the whole artwork is about probably leads me to liking that one the best.
