Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II

I want to do a farewell GTG for my friend

jenesis. For those that haven't heard she is leaving us Georgians. I will let her explain the details.

So June 23rd is the date.

Location has yet to be determined.

My suggestions:

Berry College
Callaway Gardens
Downtown Atlanta

Any other suggestions are welcome.

And please post if you want to join.

Lets make this the biggest one yet.

I don't care where we go, I just want one more chance to hang out with the best GTG group around. That's one thing I'm really gonna miss. You guys are great! :)

In about a month or two, we'll be moving to Washington, Longview to be exact. My husband got a very unexpected job offer out there so we're closing up his business here and heading West. I'm really looking forward to getting back to the West Coast as it's closer to my family in California. But I'm sure gonna miss you guys!!

There's still a very, very, very slim chance that it may not happen. But things are looking pretty darn good that it's going to happen and happen quick.

jenesis I hate to hear that you are leaving Georgia but I'm also happy for you that you will be closer to your family. And congratulations on your husbands new job offer. Always remember you have a friend here.

miss jen, I really wish we could make this (you make the GTG's so much FUN!)... but

tcguru & I have a wedding rehearsal that we have to attend that afternoon.

You just keep right on producing all those terrific images, and Glenda & I will keep admiring your work!!!

Jen,

Congrats to AJ & the family but I hate to hear that you're moving. I'll make time for this GTG. Cindee might come along with, too.
You've been a big part of whats made our group active (along with James & others); making plans and coordinating events. I'll miss your cameraderie as much as I'll miss getting to work with you even though I'll still get to see some of your gorgeous pics.

Thanks for the pm James but I'm to sad to spend a whole day with Jen:( J/k, We unfortunately will still be out of town on the 23rd. I am one of the fortunate DPCer's that will get to see her everyday until the moving truck pulls away (sob, sob). I will have to plan a mini GTG with her. Sorry I'll miss out on another chance to see the rest of you, have a great time:)

I have to say that there are soooo many balls up in the air right now, I'm not even sure I'll still be here by then. I'll hopefully have my bearings in the next few days but right now my head is completely swimming. Ugh!! :(

Would it suck if I had to phone it in??? :)

Sorry guys, I totally missed these posts. Looks like I won't be able to make it that day either. That's the day my husband leaves, can't very well say "C-ya" and let him fend for himself to get to the airport on his last day in town now can I? :) His flight doesn't even leave until 4:30 which I just found this information out today. He's quite the procrastinator, that one.

I'll be around until the 8th or so, but my weekends are going to be pretty damn busy. But you'll are more than welcome to come and help me out with my moving sale. Anyone need any furniture?? How about a house? Can I interest you in one of the those? ;)

I'm so bummed. I'm gonna miss you guys but will look forward to trips home to visit the in-laws so we can have more GTG fun. :)
