| It took over 2 hours to shoot (with a 300mm lens). Not much you can do to stop the clouds from moving :-) |

Yep. Looks like it's about 146 images wide by 14 images tall (shot in portrait orientation). That's a lotta images.
There are a few stitching artifacts, mostly color/brightness transitions. Overall the stitch seems pretty darn good, but then again with a 300mm lens, the images would require almost no warping to match them.
Took 46 hours to stitch on a machine with dual Xeon quad-core processors and running 64-bit Linux. Yikes. |

They could have used the Gigapixel Projects 4 Gigapixel Landscaping camera and did it in 4 shots J/k. |
