Ok i have just been introduced to the world of brushes... I have figured out how to create one but how do i apply it??? it their a button? I cant figure it out ... or do i create on in actions myself.

Press "B" to bring up the brush tool and then push F5 to bring up the brush window in Photoshop and you can shape your brush to however you want. I use it all the time.
