DPC's next top model.....

Bridgette Claire joined our family today.

She's a 4 month old Havachon (Bichon Frise / Havanese mix). She's about 3 pounds and will grow to 6-8 pounds. Color: White & apricot. LOL I have an apricot dog! :D

Cute as a bug and very mellow (so far).

man our cat tops out at 12Lbs. i can't imagine a dog that small. though i admit she's kinda cute ;}

although we almost adopted this guy - but we thought Fuego would inadvertantly crush him... i was choked up the day we stopped fostering 'little guy' aka 'skippy'. we have been in contact with the his new owner, and he is supposedly very happy in his new home.

LOL our cat is about 9 pounds, good bit bigger than the puppy. Lexi isn't loving the new little sister yet... I'm sure she will in time.

I agree, the name doesn't seem to fit. Maybe something along these lines...

Ankle biter
toe licker
lunch...

Sure, he's not very cooperative anymore, anyway. Would prefer to run around the house barking at nothing.

Grimm and Fuego will calm him down - only valid barks allowed... nevermind lunch...

Who's this strange lady with the one long eye?
01/20/2007 07:58:50 PM · #17
OMG she is so sweet. I guess being raised in a kennel, she's never had so much space to run and go nuts before. She is chewing on everything she can reach and running full speed all over the house. Lexi has tried to kick her butt 3 times already (each time over food). Since Lexi was here first and is top dog, there isn't much I can do about the growling... but guessing it will take a few days before they get more comfortable with each other.

I'm afraid she's stuck with the name - Bridgette - since the kids chose it. They wanted a French girls' name since bichon is a french dog lol.

Poor Lexi :(

We call them chew toy, rag mop, squeeky toy, etc., around here. That's why we don't have cats anymore. We had a couple of big dogs that liked to slime them all up, run them around picking up all the dust bunnies and then walk away and let the cat clean themselves up. The cats were not amused at all. The dogs thought it was harlarious. :D

Cute dog. We have a miniture Daschound. He's called bed spud because that's where he sleeps, he's hot as a patatoe (which is great on our cold nights).

Strange. I figured you would have a more geeky looking dog.

Awesome! That's a good looking pup, Kirby. How old is he?

Mike - my other dog is a mini dachshund (see my profile page), named Lexi. She's trying hard to adjust to the new family member.
