Yeah, that's the nature of working at a bank. We don't get snow days unless it's downright impossible. When we had the three feet in March 2003 and we were trapped indoors for three days, they did call me and tell me not to come in, but the bank was still open with a skeleton crew. We're ruled by federal regulations, which don't give a damn about the weather. But I did wear my hiking boots to work and put my snow shovel in the car for after work. And yay for four wheel drive!

I can't see across the parking lot at the moment. I can't believe we have customers today!

I remember when Chicago used to get snow in the winters. Ahh, such fun times.

Are you serious or are you being a smartass? ;-)

We're expecting two feet by tomorrow morning. Go look at 9News, all of the headlines are blizzard oriented. They say this is the biggest storm since March 2003, which was a three footer.

We're having a blizzard here in La Jara, my part of Colorado. That is adding to the 6 inches of snow we already had! It looks like there is over a foot now.

I couldn't even get outside to get some more firewood - will have to get a shovel out of the garage to shovel a path out to the firewood.

The entire state, east of the Continental Divide. We can't see across the parking lot and we haven't even really gotten hit yet.

It just passed through Durango. We got 25 inches at the resort. New Mexico is frozen with most of the highways closed.

Monday night driving home I was doing 15 miles per hour (normally 65) and was guiding by the occasional reflector that hadn't been covered in snow.

Wooo Hooo! I was told to go home at 10am this morning. I don't think I'll venture out for photos though. Maybe tomorrow.

I am jealous!! Although it's 50 degrees here today and gorgeous as can be. But being a snowboarder I would rather be off of work and feeling like it's winter

Here in Canon City, it is cold and very windy but the snow has gone all around us. A few flurries, but NONE on the roads or byways. I understand it's bad just outside of the city limits on all sides. It's like we have a bubble overhead.

Major worries - I have kids coming in from Arizona, New Mexico, Greeley and Denver - supposed to be on the road tomorrow and Friday.

From the looks of what I have seen so far, this storm reminds me of the blizzard of 1982, Christmas Eve. I was living in Denver at the time and in 24hrs we got about 3 feet. Its times like this I really miss Colorado.

Spoke too soon. The bubble has burst and we are getting accumulations on grass and sidewalks. The wind has picked up and we've had a couple of gusts in excess of 40 mph in the last few minutes. I think it's here.

Well, I hear they are getting ready to close down 165 which is just off the I-25. Also according to CDOT I-25 is closed from Pueblo to New Mexico border.

I-70 eastbound has been closed all morning, I know other stretches of various highways have been clsoed since.

The bank has decided to close at 2pm!

Thought I would add a new picture. This is looking out and up from my front door with as wet as this snow is and heavy, not sure I'd want this to land on me.

I'm home - transfering the photos off my card now!

I sent my workers home at 10:30, but now its stopped snowing and all we have is just some wind. But, all the roads out of town are closed. I'll go shoot something.
