I'm looking to get this for a small home potrait studio and to start off with beginer strobes. It seems pretty good but I've never bought/used strobe lights before. Would you recommend the kit or am I overlooking something ?

I believe there was a thread a while back (could be as much as a year) when someone bought a set and posted their thoughts on them.

Limited, but not bad was the verdict I believe.

/edit: found the post, I was right it was almost a year ago. (Cheapo ebay strobes: preliminary report.)
