Here's a slideshow from one of our recent weddings.

Wedding presentation

requires ProShow viewer plugin.

I like how you tell the story. One bit of advice (given to me, and so I'm just passing it along) is to not do so many motion effects - or to at least make them more subtle. A gentle pan to the left or right, or a gentle zoom in or out for most of the images. Save the "big zoom" or the "big pan" for specific images that take advantage of it and keep the rest of it subtle. (or use those big movements on "high energy" slideshows rather than on weddings which are usually more subdued and elegant)

Anyway, like I said... someone else gave me the same advice and it sounded good to me, so I'm just passing it along.

Kevin, could you try posting it on Google Video then it might be viewable to everybody. BTW is ProShow viewer a Mac friendly program?

Well done Kevin! My speakers suck so I could barely hear the music but the images were great.

So were you shooting the wedding this weekend or working on the slideshow. :-) 'Cause if you were shooting it and you already have the slideshow done, you are waaaaayyy too good. :-)

Pedro turned me onto Proshow when I was looking for slideshow software that I could burn to DVD's for my grandfathers memorial service and I really liked it. It's pretty user friendly and easy to use.

Awesome job Kevin! Sorry I missed the outing. Can't wait to see some more pictures. We're playing again on Wednesday night! Wish us luck...Kim

David, good idea on the pans, thanks. With the large stained glass behind the ceremony and the wider shots outdoors I'm sure we can get some slow pans in there.

Steve, I don't know about Google video; looks like it'll have to be wmv or avi. I'll check on converting the video, though.

Jen, we shot the wedding last weekend (22) and spent the week culling and sorting photos (one of the bodies was off by 12 hours dang it) and the weekend putting together the video.

Kim, we missed the outing, too. Decided Friday night that we just had too much to do between work and business to go have fun with everyone. Got to stay at home with the family for a weekend, though.

Thanks all.
