...It's a beautiful fall day, with a perfectly blue sky. And my first instinct was to grab my polarizing filter, look through it (without even attaching it to a lens) and rotate it just to see what effect it would have. Pathetic... |

You look at a landscape out your car window (without a camera) and think that it needs to be cropped.

I've been wondering if I could clone out that noisy bar across the street from my apartment for a while now... |

You overhear someone bragging about how fast their "9mm Beretta" shoots and your first thought is to wonder what the maximum aperture is. |

You know people here are addicted to photography when threads about being addicted to photography pop up frequently. :P
Here
and
Here
Oh and there are others that are also very similar except they just don't use the word "addicted" but it's too numerous to list. :P

You definately know you are addicted to photography, especially your camera, when I trip, loose my balance, and fall over flat on my face, landing quite winded, brused, and shaken. What do I do, well I reached out, and saved my camera, before saving myself.
I did this again just two days ago, and the bruises, and sore spots, are still coming out, but the camera is fine.
I saved my much loved camera, and thats all that matters.....

You're a better woman than I, Shez. Mine indeed hit the ground and now the filter is forever permanently attached. BUT when the folks walking by asked "Are you OK?" I didn't even answer - I just sat there trying to see if the camera still worked. My rib cage still hurts, too, by the way. :-) |

Ouch! Wishing you both speedy healing and steady feet!
And...I was doing okay with the addiction criteria until I hit the one wanting to edit other people's pictures. A friend of mine just bought a D70 and said he thought he'd be happy with the one lens that came with it. I tried not to laugh too hard. |

I don't mentally judge the attractiveness of a person anymore, I think of a setup to take their portrait. |
