Hey everyone, I'm back from Asia and have finally processed all of my photos. Before I left, I asked if I was allowed to have someone else submit photos for me, and accidentally started a pretty heated debate (can't find the link to the forum post now though).

Anyway, I'm hoping that since I wasn't able to submit my photos to challenges that some people will critique some of my photos now. Please let me know what you think, and feel free to leave comments under the photos.

Nice images! You didn't make it to Pattaya then?:))

How did you manage to get an image of the monks in the temple with the Emerald Buddha? Everytime I go in there I get 'Mai tai Luup!' - no taking pictures.

Maybe because it's not the Temple of the Emerald Buddha? If I recall correctly, the Emerald Buddha isn't very big and is in a glass case -it's been a while since I saw it... ;>รพ

Pug, you're right.

It's not the Emerald Buddha. The Emerald Buddha is at the Grand Royal Palace; the photo I took wast at the main temple at the nearby Wat Pho.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

Beatiful shots. I am hoping to go to this area of the world in the next year or 2 as it is my wife's homeland (Luang Namtha in northern Laos) and she has relatives over there that have never seen me or her son (who's almost 15).

These just make me want to go that much more!
