OK, I am starting another tread, so you can tell us "how" and "why" you choose your DPC username.....
I think it will be an interesting read.
I will start us off, as mine is very simple one.....
"sherpet" is a combination of my first name Sherryl, sher and my husband first name Peter, pet and when combined makes the word sherpet.....

I live in sunny california, But normal spellings of sunny are usually taken... hence Sunniee

| Mine comes from my real name. I wish I had used something I identify more with, though. I didn't realize when I signed up how much I'd want to be involved in the community here. |

I chose mine because Ray is my first name, and Ethier is my family name... and well.... since I have a very poor memory (just ask Beetle.. she knows) it seemed the most logical thing to do.
I know there are some that call me something else, but that is besides the point.

| A childhood nickname that every James tries to talk down. I like it. I am 48 and my Brit friends call me "Jimmie" and me Yank pals say, "Jimmy." Either way.... it is a name I can live wiff. By the way.... I am a Yank but enjoy the Brit spelling. So, Jimmie it is!!!! |

My username comes from something I heard during potty training.
3 years later I still hear it, even in my sleep.

The SC can easily change your username, all you have to do is ask. |

*nod* I was thinking about this, and I might still do it... I just know that people at another site were very confused when I changed my name once and 1) just the last few letters were changed and 2) it was a much smaller community where everybody knew everybody.

nah, you're still new and people change their names around here all the time. Someone onpenned a thread about it a while ago and there must have been 20 name changes in 1 day.
I had the "m" in my name capitalized (I know I'm a WILD MAN!)
BTW, in the theme of this thread - my name means Giant Sloth. |

I made this screen name on AOL some twelve years ago or so and just never changed it. So now I just use it for everything. Less remembering I have to do. :) |

Well, I just put the name I put for most of my usernames. In retrospect, I'd rather be LC Banks, but I think it's too late to change it now.
Blue Moon is a little code name I got in 6th grade. You would pick a color, and something you liked, so one of my friends was Blue Star, another was Red Jewel. I chose Blue Moon b/c I love the color blue and am a little obsessed with the moon. For good reason at least...
I was born July 20, which falls under Cancer, whose ruling 'planet' is the moon. July 20 is "Moon Day" (the day the astronauts landed on the moon). My cat's name is Luna. And lastly, I just think it looks cool.

I have been affectionately called "Goobie" by my family members since I was two and made a total mess of the kitchen via spaghetti. It's stuck since I am so sloppy with my food!
"Me" = Well, me!
"Goobie" = Me again!
