I'll take the next 10 and comment on them in the morning...as always (say it with me) I don't look at your comments before I leave mine.

I'd appreciate some comments on my worst entry to date:

It's a 4.7

It was interesting to read comments on your photo. I liked it a lot and while the girl distracted me from the letter, it was a matter of composition or lighting not the nudity. Someone remarked if they are sad they dont sit naked by a window. I saw it as she woke up and saw the letter lying on the floor. Spent the rest of the morning sitting stunned, looking out the window for whoever left it. The gratuitous nudity comments therefore cracked me up. Guess we know who sleeps in full body pajamas.

Hahaha....I was tempted to start a thread on the huge variation of opinions on this one. But thought it may upset some to see this image again.

When you do progress scores..save me a spot just in case I'm late. Say you'll take the next 9 and mine.

I know my score was a bit out of the range, and the first ten have already been chosen, but for anyone that is willing to help: I picked up a quite a few DNMC votes on this image, what would have minimized the DNMC votes while still using the same original concept for the image? Should I have had the word in the eye in the title? Should it have been a much simpler print in order to be easier to read? Let me know your thoughts.

Oh, and as a side question, is mirroring an image allowed in basic editing (so that the word would not have been backward)

The word in the eye is illegible. It was dicey enough to make out that the eye was reflecting a sheet of paper, but it was a great photo and given the challenge it was entered in it was a safe bet that it was supposed to be paper. My 2 cents would be worry less about the word and more about making it obvious it is a piece of paper.

Hmm... that's a good idea. Definitely worth a try...

Matt,

I commented on this image during the challenge and gave you an 8. I think you executed your idea about as well as it could have been done or I would have left a suggestion or two regarding improvement. Your title told them where to look and if they didn't look hard enough it is their loss. Don't worry about the DNMC, as you have an image most people would be proud to have in their portfolio.
