Thank you Lord, for the ignore button.

No offense intended, but watching these leagues when you're not in the game is a bit like watching the Seattle Mariners or Supersonics, neither of which is likely to make any play-off in the foreseeable future.

L o n g - d i s a p p o i n t e d - s i g h.

At least the Seahawks are the 2nd best team in the NFL! For now.

This was a lot of fun. Thank you very much Scott. The WPL is a great boost to the regular DPC challenges. Most of the photographers improved their scores and many have done some of their best work during WPL.

Thanks to all the other teams.

High five for my teammates in Magnificent 7. I thought my idea for the name of the team was a bit cocky but we stood up to that. Great work.

Thanks Scott for putting it all together.

And congrats to the Mag 7 on great tournament.

We would've put up a better fight in the final if it wasn't for that damn extra challenge, (self-portraits). Grrrrr to D&L for scheduling that one when they did. :)

Wohoo! Well you guys in the Pentax team will get a chance for a rematch in the first week of the second season of the WPL, don´t get your hopes up though, we are going to crush you again.

Really wish the second season would start sooner, I have entered two challenges after it finished and both are SUCKING, well under my average :S Seems pressure really agrees with me, I perform better under it.

Great job Scott, appreciate the hard work you put into this, it was fun and can´t wait till season 2.

You guys really stepped up on that Self-Portrait challenge. That challenge, alone, killed us. Congrats!!

If the words "portrait" and/or "landscape" aren't in the challenge descriptions for that week then we'll give you a damn good run for your money ;)

Well done again guys.

edit: By the way...what were the final scores ?

Thank you very much for all the hard work, Scott. Congratulations to the Mag 7 and most of all... congratulations to my teammate Shailyshivas for winning the most improved photographer award.

Three cheers - YAY, YAY, YAY for Shail! Great job!

Thanks to Scott for coming up with this concept. Lots of work behind the scene to make it happen. Hats off to you!!!

Eagerly waiting for WPL2.

Sheesh, I just realized that the Mag 7 team collected 10 ribbons during the WPL, 8 blue ones and 2 red ones! I totally gotta agree with that DrAchoo said in another post, it´s fun to be in a team where you really have to struggle to be in the top 4 every week. It´s going to be tough keeping up the standard for season 2 but we´ll do our best :S

Do we get the nomination for most humble leader too?

Just bustin' your chops Larus... ;)

The concept of "poor winner" isn't always lost on people either ;)

Guys, looks like you lost a man and your average has plummeted. You know there is always a sharpshooter around the corner to bring you down ;)

It´s true, Arngrimur won´t be with us in the second season, he just told me that yesterday. Not that he doesn´t want to, just that his summer vacation will leave him out of it for several weeks and he doesn´t want to be in it if he can´t give it a 100% to let the team down. I have several people waiting from an answer from me though so we´ll see soon who the replacement is. His are big shoes to fill though but I have no doubt the replacement will be able to do so.
