Changed my portfolio on the web a bit. I'm still working on it. Choosing pictures and deciding on the categories. If you have the time to take a look at it and comment that would be well apriciated :)

Well... here it is

The site looks great, Arni! Did you decide not to include contact and pricing information for some reason? It seems like this would be a great tool to attract business for you, if you want it to.

Can you please put them back up for the next 4 weeks to give people inspiration for the 30 days of self portrait challenge?

One of the nicest picture sites I've seen - very clean, simple design.

Did you write it yourself or amend an existing app?

Thanks :)

The contact information will be there shortly :) This will just be a portfolio site and I'm planning on making another one where people can actually buy picture directly of the site.

I designed it myself and I'm using a program my friend programmed. It is the same program I used to make the site for my girlfriend, Audur (babylon). The link to it is here.

nice site. Easy to browse, not over fancy, nice and simple.

I like how the photos are the main attraction, not text, or fancy buttons and flashy neon signs.

I like your site a lot. The black box within the grey background that the images download into is nice. Great choice of images (or are all of yours as good).

I wonder what the point of your website is however. Sounds bad when I read this, but I don't mean it that way. With no pricing, it doesn't seem to be a site from which to sell prints (yet?). If it is a site to promote yourself as a photographer, then maybe it needs some sort of bio added. Then again, maybe these are details yet to come.

Anyway, I like it, especially the image on the opening page.

Nice presentation. Very clean.

One thought, the proper DTD for the pages is . Not having the URL puts browsers in quirks mode and has the potential to alter layouts.

Also, there is no height attribute for tables. You should use CSS only to set the dimension or center it vertically.

I usually use but for some reason I couldn't make the page center having that line in the document. I'm using
to align the page right in the center of the page. I don't think there is a vertical align tag in css... but if there is and you know it. Pleeeeease tell :) I've been cursing it for months... years.

I use for my blog page. //arni.hamstur.is/. But there I don't have to align anything vertical. There are no table tags in that page and I would like to have it like that.
