Well for all those who were unable to get their entries in the oops challenge before the site went down, you can post them here and everyone can pretend like they are voting on them and commenting on them. The more comments, the easier it will be to let go of the anger. ;-)

I'll start.

So I don't get the "oops" part of it.

Face Plant

It wouldn't have scored well, but I would liked to have been able to enter it anyway.

I got the oops - he escaped - but I can't make out the cage reflection. Looks like the tower guards are onto him though - hitting him with the spotlight. LOL An excellent photo!

My bad. I thought the reflection was of a bathroom fixture or something. I guess I'm not really up on what tarantula cages look like.

My would be entry.

"Mom! Dad is making toast again!"

FWIW: We must have precedent for this, but it seems to me that in a situation like this, the entry period should extend for 24 hours, provided the creation date met the original criteria.

Good luck to those that got the image into the contest.

Best,
Soccerdad

Wow, i really liked this one. Spiders give me the creeps, but this was a well done shot, imo.

That fiery toast is awesome. Would have scored it at the top.

Here was mine. 'Christmas Causalty: Think Mom Will Notice?'

Got this one but missed the challenge.

Caption could be something like:

No honey it's not you. I'm under a lot of stress at work.

I was going to enter a photo of feces and title it:

'S Poo, I'm Dyslexic.

Common Sense prevailed.

I can never come up with something in challenges such as Oops...this one might have worked nicely but a few months too late! I still look at this photo and wonder how did they get up there?
