There are many many imo. Without offending anyone I'd just like to point out a couple I felt should have drawn higher scores, each for different reasons.

I could fill up this post with others, but these seemed too low:

Anyone else?

not to say there wasn't any other worthy photos, there were some truly great ones.

In addition to, obviously, my entry in 174th place, here are the ones taken statistically from the results page, that I scored higher than they finished in relative terms:

37th:
108th:
115th:
229th:
390th:

All these (with the exception of the first one) have enough flaws in my opinion to not deserve a ribbon. My opinion is that of a relative bad placing of the photo - all of these I would have placed 10s if not 100s places above.

well, I would like to see many entries higher, but being 22nd, 35th or 37th and may be even 53rd out of 500+ is probably nothing to complain about.

So let's look at my favorite under 100:

Under 200:

and under 250:

Plus many of those already picked.

There should be voting for "most underrated photo" after every challenge :-)

I scored the top and bottom a 10.
And I don't think the chimp shot is underated when it took 13th out of 514.

Not really underrated (6th place) but this was arguably my favorite of the entire challenge and I really thought it would snag a ribbon:

I really liked this.

I would post what I thought was underrated, but I feel I would be labeled as biased...

;)

I do agree with some of the choices posted above though. This was a tough challenge to vote on. There were soooo many excellent images how do you pick one as better over the other. I have a feeling a lot of people adjusted their normal voting habits on this one. You almost had too in my opinion.
