I'm currently using Snapfish as my online gallery, but the photos are small. So I would like a different site to store and share my photos. Any ideas? Thanks.

I use flickr.com from yahoo. but you have to pay $25/y if you want to upload large files, otherwise you're limited to 20mb/month on the free account. Which is okay for resized images of 1024x768 or so.

For actual storage? Pbase.com comes to mind. Smugmug is also highly rated, and I think gives you lots of space. Not sure on the prices for those.

pbase seems to be the one that most of the serious fotogs use.

Smugmug is user-friendly and about $25 a year for practically unlimited space. Feel free to use this coupon to save five bucks if you want to sign up. I have been on there for almost 2 years and love it. You can get a free 7 day trial to check it out and see if it suits you. :)

i use pbase and it's great. and every year they increase your storage space for the same price. i've been there since May 2003 and i'm up to 300mb of storage space. i think the first year it's $23.00 for 100mb.

just checked it again...now it looks like you automatically get 300mb storage for $23.00.

I just signed up for smugmug, they have unlimited space. Pbase seemed to have some problems in the past with speed and I heard good reveiws about smugmug, so I opted for it.

Just checked smugsmug and it looks very nice. It looks like standard accounts start at $29.95/year...FYI :)

I use my own host, it's also for my personal website not only photogallery.
For showing the photos i use pixelpost.org gallery, sweet & easy to change layout / interface etc.

I use something called expose4 from slooz. It's hosted on my own space which I get from compila. It's a flash based gallery which loads images and text from a seperate text file, and best of all, IT'S FREE!! :)
