Hi folks,

I just got finished processing the 1000+ photos I took in during the Isle of Man TT a couple of weeks ago and I've distilled them down to what I think is a representative set.

I was wondering if any of you good people would be kind enough to let me know what you think? I was there for 2 days and managed to catch 4 events. You can see the pictures here

Alternatively here are some of my favourites:

I'm planning on entering a competition where I need to submit "motorsport" images. I can enter 3. But which 3??

Wow, I wish I could have been there. I've only seen some of the televised races and they are phenomenal. Those are nice, crisp shots...of course I'm partial to sport bikes. You've got some great illustrations of the "mystical" counter-steer. Thanks for sharing.

The sidecars is my favourite and I would probably drop the red No9.
PS Now take a look at my (poor) record as a snapper and decide if you really want my advice

Hi John
They are all great pictures, I like the second one best. I also like the first one, but the dark bit in the top left hand corner just keeps catching my eye.
Wish I could take something like that.

Sidecar image is the most compelling. Motorsports images should show some competition, though that's often difficult at the TT. There are some other good ones in your catalog, I also like 7497.

Here's some from 2004. I took about 1300 pics, but never could finish all the work to write the web page.

Nice work on the 2004 shots. It looks like you were there for quite a few races. I only managed 3 days but took in 3 races and the sand races as well as the parade lap. It was fantastic fun too - I'll definitely go again.

Thanks folks for the feedback.

Go with the first 3. Nice work.

All 4 are good shots, contrary to popular opinion, I like number 4!

There is just one thing that I think would improve them? Not anything to do with the photos, but identication of the riders to use as titles. Everyone has fav riders and having the name in the title would make them saleable to fans, rather than just general racing pics.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes it makes good sense. Where I am able to see the bike numbers I'll put the rider name as the title. Thanks for the idea and thanks also for the comments.
