Instead of a red x you could have something like this.

I was wondering if the green bush contributed to the image at all?

What do you think about this crop?

all you have to do is crop out what you don't want, then do is flip it horizontially. It's that simple.

Free transform in photoshop. Select the bounding box tool. Right click on the image, select free transform. Then you can drag the right bounding marker all the way across, to "flip" the image. Or do it the easy way above! LOL

Just bored and playing around... what do you think of this rendition of the image?

thanks for that quick explaination

i think the crop(without the bush) is better. i dont think the bush does anything except distract from the lovely cottage and water wheel.

dwterry- i like it with that glow added. my pick of them all so far. i like that you used greatandsmalls version.

I agree, take the bush out. Too bad there wasn't any runningn water, that would have been even better. Unless of course you were entering it in the obsolete challenge.

B&W conversion with a sepia filter. Looks like you have some B&W shots in your profile. Nice images.

Can't spell..

I like it without the bush, but the sepia version is nice and there the bush distracts less. I also think I like it better sans DustDevil. ;)

Thanks for the tips. I really like the mirror image of the photo. It makes it looks it totally different. I think I might do that and make it sepia toned.

yurasocolov.....i wanted to zoom out more, but this mill is in a suburb of Atlanta and there is ALOT of construction and roadwork going on all around this little mill. It is a pitty to see such fast growth sometimes that threatens such beautiful places
