I recently went to Florida for three nights and two days just for a quick visit and to attend a couple family events. I got about two days of shooting in and effectively about one gig. Here are a couple to share. All critiques and comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Thanks! I was in Delray Beach on the Eastern Coast... it's about a half hour south of West Palm Beach and 45 minutes north of Ft. Lauderdale.

Thanks again,
Lee

facade is awesome. love the color. Im not too crazy about the grey diamond shape under the window however, i think simply cropping that out would still make a nice shot.

Thanks... yea I guess it is a matter of preference. Personally, I thought it added to the composition, but that is just what I liked :)

Stairway, while lacking something, definatly grows on you. Closer to a master then I have seen in a while.

The stairs lead you in an almost dizzying effect.

i think one my favorite aspects about the shot (facade) is how everything seems so perfect, the lines are straight, colors are well defined and well, its all so damned perfect. Then with the diamond, its not a solid grey, nor does it form perfectly straight lines (closer look reveals this may be JPEG artifacts?). Of course its a matter of preference, just thought id explain my self.

Have I mentioned its a really good shot?

Hah thanks and thanks for the clarification. THe shot was above DPC pixel requirements so there is some JPEG artifact damage due to DPC's automatic resizing. I see your point and it's always an option!
