I really don't care how this does cause I am so pleased with my entry this time. It took three nights of experimenting with ambient light, exposure and lenses to get this right. I finished up shooting this at 8 PM, just four hours before the deadline. Perfect!

Was at 7.000 then 6.000 then up to 6.2222 now down to 5.4444.
I usually don't consider the score to be close to what it may end up being until it has reached 100+ votes, then I can get a good guesstimate. |

i'm like u nsbca7 i didn't think this would work but i tryed and tryed it doesn't sound as hard as your shot though.
its more just i had an i dea but wasn't sure if it would be feasibule so i submitted a "buffer" shot and unsubmitted it about 2hrs. ago i was able to get a shot better than i had seen in my head and for that reason i don't care my votes which have been slowly rising since my start at 4.000 flat.

Although this would be by far my best score if it stayed like this, I am actually a little disappointed with it so far 'cos I think I nailed this one.
No comments yet so hard to judge exactly what the response is.

Looks like a lot of people nailed this one. This is the best challenge I've seen.

It still find it hard to tell what voters like here. I'm sittin on 6.1 after 20 votes with one comment in the first half hour but I'm not real impressed with the shot.
Beats the one comment in the whole faceless challenge with an image I thought would do much better.

Yeah, the competition is pretty fierce by the looks of it. My average vote cast is probably a good 2 points above what I was giving in 'Old and New'.

As a rule they like bright and shiny. I like dark and foreboding. My best scoring image is a bright shiny dog.

Scott, is your pic taken in low light? Curious to see how the FZ20 works... I have a add tomorrow (I am modeling and might get some 120$) and I am getting close to my upgrade :-)

Well this is a first. I've never gone fifty votes without a comment. Is this foretelling a bad outcome or perhaps no one quite knows what to say. They should have a challenge titled controversal.
