Hey peeps, I think some here know I tap my maples and make maple syrup. Well someone on Mapletrader.com posted pics of tree that had, uh, started to grow over a couple of buckets and spiles....which led to someone else posting this link to Trees sucking on things and it's just incredible what can get overgrown by trees (and I think I now know why the local cemetery forbids planting of trees)...worth checking out, though would be tough to do for a challenge!

Pretty neat how they just consume or grow around things that crowd them. Thanks for sharing.
