This would be two back-to-back challenges. I'm flex on the original subject - a free study would work. The twist is that your entry for the 2nd challenge must be the same original as for the 1st challenge - except edited significantly differently.
My thinking is that with low commenting and folks looking for feedback, this would allow the photographer to get feedback (in the form of scores) on different editing techniques / approaches to the same image.

While interesting, it would run up against the issue of anonymity. Might be better as a side challenge.

"Self Portrait" challenges run up against that, but we still have them. Actually, about 80% of my entries...

That said, IMO, side challenges are a better venue because it's more conducive to learning and sharing.
