When you look at this photograph, it is so well edited that eyes are popping and at the same time the ambience is giving a boost of the original shot.

Any idea/link/you tube on how to edit these kind of shots? I did ask the person who actually did the work and waiting to hear back :)

Looks like the little girl's face has been edited with Portrait Professional or a similar program designed for this sort of work.

Paint the Moon is used this way...I can't post the link...as I'm on my phone. It's a great product and does exactly what is in that picture.

there is nothing special or extraordinary about the editing techniques used here. you aren't going to fins any actions that do this automatically though.

the skin processing could be frequency separation or possibly simpler (kids usually have smooth un blotchy skin that doesn't doesn't require it). its pretty heavy smoothing and the skin as the texture looks to be gone.

the rest is just dodge and burn and adjusting colors and adding some background lighting effects. good dodge and burn is crucial to making images pop like this.

Thank you!!! Their actions are soooo easy and you can vary the amount of application by either masks/opacity. It's virtually one step.

I looked at these but to me it more looks like portrait pro kind of work then an action but let me see if I can find an action to work and play around.

I completely agree. Looks to me like Portrait Pro, along with PTM actions.

I was just about to type the same thing!

Also, on half of them I preferred the original version :)

why don't you drop the photographer an e-mail and ask her? She'd probably be flattered.
