Optimistic as always, I'm off by quite a bit. There's still time, though, right?

This whole challenge reminds me of this joke.
A guy walks into a cafe bar and addresses the waitress with a flirty voice:
- "Bring me one coffee, strong as me, sweet as you."
The waitress brigs the coffee. The guy takes a sip, makes a sour face and starts spitting around. He addresses the waitress again:
- "Honey, i think that you have overestimated yourself."

LOL
That is so true ... at least for me.
Yesterday evening I changed the title one more time .4 upwards. Shouldn't have done this. I hoped there might be a self fulfilling prophecy, but it doesn't happen |

Score is currently 0.0238 over my guess, but that'll never hold. I now predict that, when the dust settles, my guess will have turned out to be a bit optimistic. |

0.2636 below my estimated score, I think that is acceptable at this stage. |

Started off way above my estimate but now slightly below it. Comments suggest that some people are giving me the vote they think I am "asking for". |

To follow the observation offered by Yo_Spiff: "...people are giving me the vote they think I am "asking for"."
Is anyone else feeling influenced to rate an image according to the score offered by the photographer?
For example if the submission has the title score of 6 - are you moved to select that rating or is your final rating above or below what the photograph's title suggests?
Just curious. |
