Hiya,

Would it be possible to enable the voting breakdown durring voting, maybe for members only if needs be?

I would very much like to be able to tell how well I'm doing on the range of voting, mostly 3's with a few 7's, or mostly 5's with one 6, etc. Since it is already done at the end of voting it wouldn't seem to me to be that hard to run it early every hour or so.

Thanks!

I think that would be a lovely feature :)

That would be cool to watch your curve change as the voting progresses!

I like the idea of watching the graph change, too. But I suspect it will merely move the "Damn, how could I have gotten three ones!" threads from after the challenge to during the challenge.

..and a few forums posts saying "whoever just voted: how dare you give me a 1!"

Since there could be up to a one hour delay on seeing the current breakdown then a person couldn't address someone who gave a 1 since I'm sure more then 1 person durring that time gave a 1.

Ok, I'm not saying it won't happen. It's pointless so it probably "will" happen, but is that any excuse to stop useful features for the rest of us? :)

BTW it is possible to do a little math I suspect and detect within a few minutes that you have just been given a 1 by how much the score changes, so it's really a moot point. :)

Cheers!

Yay! I've been suggesting showing the little voting graph with (or instead of) the average vote for some months now...

The math calculation is pretty straightforward - I do it occasionally for myself. But it doesn't tell you when someone changes a vote up or down. I'd rather see the distribution also.
