Delete comments made on a challenge entry...

Hey....is it possible to delete comments made on a challenge entry? For example, could I delete a comment that someone made on one of my photos....as if it never happened? (not just edit the comment).

Well...I'm about 99% certain that someone was able to delete several comments from their image...even a comment that was made during voting.

during voting yes, if done before voting ends

Ok...I made a comment on a photo during voting....voting ended...comment still there. The member then commented back...I commented again...etc...now all are gone...no record that I even made a comment on that photo...LOL

SC or admins or someone higher up *can* remove comments as far as i remember.
i've seen a few instances where fights broke out and the offending remarks were stricken from the record. usually only after a "report this" click, but possible if they catch it themselves

You can edit or delete comments YOU make on others' photos, but I am not aware how you could delete their comments on your photo. If it's not a baghead, pm them to ask for it to be removed, perhaps?

Basically, as someone mentioned, if the comments are reported (they could be offensive, harassing, or personal attacks), then SC will delete them. But you cannot remove them yourself. If you'd like some unsolicited advice, here it is... just leave him alone already.

Ever paid your $25 for membership and then banned from the site or suspended from commenting before? Likely not. I have and it's because of that that I made Hahn's "bet" posts public. IMO, I could have easily been banned again by commenting on his photos without proof that he said it would be ok.
