practicing on different portrait photo ideas...what do u think? how can i improve?

I think there is waaay too much going on in this image, and so many overlays obscuring the really lovely portrait. Maybe it's a matter of personal taste, but less is more

Took a while to get it with all that stuff.
Agree with others needs less,the idea of the original image looks good.

The focus goes right to the bubbles, it should be the other way around. I like the attempt, just needs better execution.

sooo "minus the bubbles" is what im hearing...that makes sense...of course the mother loved them, but at first she said she had the same problem, seeing what the actual photo was....atleast these are just concepts and attempts at different ideas...not like 'paid for" portraits or anything...thanks for the advice everyone....

I think it might be cool if you b/g erased inside the bubbles so we see more clearly just in the bubbles....if that makes any sense

I thought the composite was very cool and I would keep it all, just make the clouds and bubble layers less prominent and the people more prominent.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean NO overlays, but if used, should be at GREATLY reduced opacity.
