Lots of positive feedback on it in other places, but still only a meh entry for the DPC collective. Was in tiny violin territory until I hit the update button. Huge drop from that click, so someone really hated it.

think im getting dnmc'd even though in my eyes there is one thing massively wrong with it, what i didnt do though was title as such to make it obvious think that was a mistake |

Gone from a 5.92 first thing this morning to a dead even 5.000 now. Lots of folks hating this.

Some voters might ding you for titling it when the photo should speak for itself in this particular challenge anyway. Damned if you do, damned if ya don't. Maybe the glaring thing wrong was that you submitted it at all. ;-)
I'm not in, but I looked at all the entries - kinda disappointing overall - not many entries and few, if any that are awe-inspiring. Haven't voted yet - waiting til I'm in a better mood or less jealous that I didn't enter. ;-) |

As the challenge descrip was so vague - is it the subject matter that is meant to be wrong? Or is it meant to be something in-camera or during pp that is supposed to be wrong, like the wrong wb? (Actually I used the correct wb for my entry).
Anyway I tried to cover both possible conceptions of *wrong*, and am rockin a 4.500 for my efforts. I'm just not having fun anymore. Thinking that it's time to sell the gear :-/

My guess is that the voters will likely vote down entries that have things 'wrong' about the exposure and post processing. I think a safer bet in this challenge would be to take a photo with something 'wrong' about the subject that is being photographed. |

Again, I did try to cover both potential wrong approaches, with something apparently wrong in the subject and with the technics of the photo itself - btw exposure, wb etc are all good, but something else isn't. Don't want to say anything more during voting.

| Since the goal at DPC is to make good photographs, I interpreted the challenge to mean something glaringly wrong with the subject. I didn't even consider making a glaringly bad photo. That's not to say my interpretation was right, just my thought process. |
