Is there always a need for validation if you get top 5? My last two entries were top 5 and I was asked for validation on both. The triptych I could see a need for validation since I used light painting and it looked odd but desserts was just a portrait. Saw no need for validation.

The entries that get the bling need validating to ensure the PS wizards haven't used techniques not permitted under the rule set, oh and to make sure the shot wasn't taken 3 years ago.
